What Is an Earth Care Pro ID Number?

Your Unique Identification Number as an Approved Earth Care Applicant

An Earth Care Pro ID number is a unique identification number issued to applicants who successfully complete the Earth Care – Rent A Tech application review and receive approval.

Your Pro ID helps Earth Care identify you within the platform and serves as an important record showing that your application was approved.

Getting a Pro ID is completely free.

There is no charge to apply for an Earth Care Pro ID, and receiving a Pro ID does not require you to purchase anything.

What Does an Earth Care Pro ID Mean?

Your Earth Care Pro ID is a unique number assigned to you after your application has been reviewed and approved.

It is used to identify you within the Earth Care system without requiring you to repeatedly provide personal information.

Think of your Pro ID as your individual Earth Care identification number.

It can help Earth Care:

  • Identify your approved application

  • Locate your applicant record

  • Distinguish you from other applicants

  • Confirm that you successfully passed the application stage

  • Connect your information with later onboarding steps

  • Assist you when contacting Earth Care support

  • Maintain organized records as you continue through the platform

Because your Pro ID is unique to you, you should save it after it is issued.

How Do I Get an Earth Care Pro ID Number?

The first step is to submit an application to become an Earth Care Pro.

You can apply at:

www.rentatech.org/app

After you submit your application, the Earth Care system reviews your application.

If your application is approved, you will be directed to the Earth Care Orientation page, where your Pro ID number is issued.

The process generally works like this:

  1. Submit your Earth Care Pro application.

  2. Your application is reviewed.

  3. The system determines whether the application is approved.

  4. Approved applicants receive an Earth Care Pro ID.

  5. Your Pro ID is displayed during orientation.

  6. You should save the number for your records.

  7. You can then continue learning about Earth Care and your next steps.

Is It Free to Get an Earth Care Pro ID?

Yes.

There is no charge to submit an application and receive a Pro ID if your application is approved.

Your Pro ID is part of the application and orientation process.

You do not have to pay the Earth Care account activation fee simply to find out whether your application is approved or to receive your Pro ID.

This allows applicants to learn more about Earth Care before deciding whether they want to continue with account activation.

Does Everyone Who Applies Receive a Pro ID?

No.

A Pro ID is only issued after an application has been approved.

Submitting an application by itself does not automatically create a Pro ID.

If the application is not approved, the applicant will not receive an Earth Care Pro ID number.

This is one reason the Pro ID is important: it indicates that the applicant successfully completed the application review stage and was approved to continue through the Earth Care onboarding process.

Is My Pro ID Proof That My Application Was Approved?

Yes.

Your Earth Care Pro ID serves as an important record that your application was approved by the system.

If you receive a Pro ID, it means you have successfully passed the application stage and are eligible to continue with orientation and the next steps presented to you.

Because of this, we strongly recommend that applicants save, screenshot, download, or print their Pro ID number when it is issued.

You may need it later when communicating with Earth Care or continuing through the platform.

Why Is My Earth Care Pro ID Important?

Your Pro ID helps create a consistent identity for you throughout the Earth Care platform.

Instead of identifying someone only by a name, phone number, or email address, Earth Care can use a unique Pro ID associated with that individual applicant.

This is especially useful because multiple people can have the same or similar names.

Your Pro ID helps Earth Care distinguish one pro from another.

It may be useful for:

  • Applicant verification

  • Customer support

  • Orientation

  • Account onboarding

  • Platform records

  • Worker identification

  • Opportunity-related communications

  • Future account assistance

Your Pro ID remains an important reference number throughout your relationship with Earth Care.

Where Will I See My Pro ID?

Approved applicants receive their Pro ID during the Earth Care Orientation process.

After your application has been approved, the orientation page will display your unique Pro ID number and explain the next steps available to you.

You should save the number when it appears.

The orientation page also gives you an opportunity to learn more about:

  • How Earth Care works

  • The types of work opportunities that may be available

  • What the platform includes

  • Earth Care first-party opportunities

  • Independent opportunity resources

  • Professional tools

  • Training resources

  • Platform expectations

  • Important terms

  • What happens if you decide to move forward

Your Pro ID is therefore one of the first important pieces of information you receive after application approval.

Will My Pro ID Be Emailed to Me?

No.

Your Earth Care Pro ID is not automatically emailed to you.

Once your application is approved, your Pro ID is issued and displayed directly on the Earth Care Orientation page.

When your Pro ID appears, you will have the ability to:

  • Save your Pro ID to your device as an image

  • Print your Pro ID

  • Keep a digital copy for your records

  • Store it with your other Earth Care onboarding information

Because the Pro ID is displayed during orientation rather than sent by email, it is important to save or print it when it is issued.

We strongly recommend keeping a copy somewhere you can easily access later.

What Does an Earth Care Pro ID Look Like?

Earth Care Pro IDs use an identification format designed specifically for the Rent A Tech platform.

A Pro ID may appear in a format similar to:

RTP-123456

The RTP portion identifies the number as a Rent A Tech Pro identification number, while the numeric portion distinguishes the individual applicant.

Your actual number is generated by the Earth Care system.

How Secure Is an Earth Care Pro ID?

Earth Care Pro IDs are designed with security and privacy in mind.

Each approved applicant is issued a unique, system-generated numeric identifier rather than being identified publicly by sensitive personal information.

The number is generated through a secure randomized process designed to make each Pro ID unique and difficult to predict.

This means a Pro ID does not expose sensitive information such as:

  • Your Social Security number

  • Your date of birth

  • Your home address

  • Your bank account information

  • Your financial information

  • Your password

  • Other private credentials

The Pro ID acts as a secure internal identifier that helps Earth Care distinguish one approved pro from another without relying on personal information as the primary reference.

Because the number is generated electronically and is not based on easily guessed personal details, it provides a high level of privacy and security for worker identification.

Is My Pro ID Generated Securely?

Yes.

Earth Care Pro IDs are created through a secure system-generated process that produces a unique randomized numeric code for each approved applicant.

The system is designed so that the identifier itself does not reveal personal information about the person it belongs to.

This makes the Pro ID a safer way to reference an applicant than repeatedly displaying or exchanging private information such as a full address, date of birth, or other sensitive identifying details.

In simple terms:

Your Pro ID identifies you without exposing your private information.

That is one of the reasons Earth Care uses Pro IDs throughout the platform.

Is My Pro ID a Password?

No.

Your Earth Care Pro ID is an identification number, not a password.

It is designed to be a secure way of identifying your applicant or Pro record, but it should not be treated as a replacement for account passwords or other login credentials.

Never send passwords, financial account information, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive credentials simply because someone knows your Pro ID.

Should I Save My Pro ID?

Yes. We strongly recommend saving it.

Once your application has been approved and your Pro ID is displayed, keep a copy somewhere you can easily locate later.

You can:

  • Save it to your device as an image

  • Print your Pro ID

  • Take a screenshot

  • Write the number down

  • Store it with your Earth Care onboarding information

Keeping your Pro ID can make it easier to identify your record if you need assistance later.

What If I Lose My Pro ID?

If you lose your Pro ID, contact Earth Care support for assistance.

Your Pro ID is connected with your applicant record, so support may be able to help identify your information after verifying the necessary details.

However, the easiest option is to save or print the number when it is first issued during orientation.

Does Having a Pro ID Mean I Have Activated My Account?

Not necessarily.

Receiving a Pro ID means your application has been approved and that you can continue through Earth Care Orientation.

Orientation and account activation are separate stages.

A simplified version of the process is:

Application → Approval → Pro ID → Orientation → Decide Whether to Continue → Account Activation

This gives applicants an opportunity to understand Earth Care before deciding whether to activate their account.

Does a Pro ID Guarantee Jobs?

No.

A Pro ID identifies an approved applicant and allows that person to continue through Earth Care's onboarding process.

It does not guarantee a particular job, amount of work, number of opportunities, earnings, or future client demand.

Work opportunities can vary based on factors such as:

  • Location

  • Service category

  • Customer demand

  • Availability

  • Qualifications

  • Timing

  • Individual opportunity requirements

The Pro ID simply confirms your identity within the Earth Care system and your approved application status.

What Happens After I Receive My Pro ID?

After receiving your Pro ID, continue through Earth Care Orientation.

Orientation is designed to help you understand:

  • What Earth Care is

  • How the platform works

  • What kinds of opportunities may be available

  • What resources are included

  • How independent work through the platform operates

  • Important terms and expectations

  • Your responsibilities as a Pro

  • How to access additional resources

  • What your next step is if you decide to continue

You can then decide whether Earth Care is the right fit for you.

Pro ID vs. Account Activation

These are two different parts of the Earth Care process.

Pro ID

Your Pro ID is issued free of charge after your application has been approved.

It identifies you as an approved Earth Care applicant.

Account Activation

Account activation is a later step for applicants who complete orientation and decide they want access to the Earth Care platform and Pro resources.

You can therefore receive your Pro ID and learn about Earth Care before making a decision about activation.
