Earth Care Rent A Tech Pro Worker 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Earth Care Rent A Tech protects new Pro Workers with a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. If an eligible Pro Worker completes the required onboarding steps, remains available for work, and receives no qualifying opportunities during the first 30 consecutive days, they may request a full refund of the $47 one-time fee. Qualifying opportunities may include Earth Care customer service requests and relevant third-party job postings matching the Pro Worker’s approved skills and service area. This guarantee covers the availability of qualifying opportunities but does not guarantee employment, earnings, customer selection, or the completion of a particular job.

Questions About Verifying Available Work
Why can’t Earth Care give me the personal information of local Pro Workers?
Earth Care protects the privacy and safety of every Pro Worker. We do not provide another person’s name, telephone number, email address, home address, earnings, work history, or account information without that person’s permission.
The fact that someone participates in Earth Care does not give us permission to disclose their identity or personal information to prospective applicants. This is the same privacy protection that will apply to you if you join.
Earth Care may publish voluntary testimonials, reviews, photos, videos, or success stories when a Pro Worker has given permission for that information to be shared.
Why can’t Earth Care give me the personal information of local customers?
Customers provide private information so an eligible Pro Worker can complete a specific service request. Their names, telephone numbers, email addresses, exact service addresses, and project details cannot be disclosed to people who have not been approved or assigned to the request.
Sharing that information before an opportunity is accepted could expose customers to unsolicited calls, messages, visits, or misuse of their information.
When appropriate, Earth Care may provide nonprivate details such as the general location, service category, estimated compensation, scheduling window, and general work requirements. Private customer information is released only when necessary and permitted for an accepted assignment.
Can Earth Care connect me with a local Pro Worker as a reference?
Earth Care cannot require a Pro Worker to speak with prospective applicants. When permission has been provided, Earth Care may share voluntary testimonials, interviews, reviews, videos, or other approved accounts from participating Pro Workers.
A refusal to disclose private contact information does not mean that local Pro Workers or completed jobs do not exist. It means Earth Care applies the same privacy protections to existing Pro Workers that it will apply to you.
Why can’t I complete a job first and pay the $47 afterward?
The $47 fee is not deducted from the earnings of a particular job. It supports onboarding, profile setup, training resources, eligibility review, opportunity access, job-routing services, support, and continued platform access.
Before Earth Care can route a customer request or provide full platform access, the applicant must complete the applicable onboarding requirements and become an active, eligible Pro Worker. This helps protect customers and ensures that opportunities are sent only to people who have completed the required participation process.
Allowing unapproved or inactive applicants to accept customer work would create privacy, reliability, eligibility, and customer-service concerns.
The fee does not purchase a job or guarantee earnings. It activates access to the services and resources included in the Pro Worker program, subject to the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.
Why do I have to pay before seeing private job information?
Applicants may use the free Earth Care Job Checker to check for current work activity near their ZIP code before paying. Earth Care may also provide nonprivate information about relevant work activity, such as the general location and type of work.
Exact addresses, customer contact information, access instructions, and other private details are restricted to eligible Pro Workers when those details are needed to respond to or complete an opportunity.
This protects customers while still allowing applicants to check whether Earth Care has relevant activity near their location.
Can you tell me exactly how many jobs are available in my area right now?
Earth Care may provide a current or approximate snapshot of opportunity activity near your ZIP code. However, the number is not a permanent inventory of jobs and should not be interpreted as the number of jobs reserved for you.
Opportunity totals can change quickly because:
-
A customer may post, change, postpone, or cancel a request;
-
Another eligible Pro Worker may accept an Earth Care-routed request;
-
A third-party employer or customer may fill or remove a posting;
-
An opportunity may require a different skill, license, schedule, or service radius;
-
New opportunities may be added at any time; and
-
Previously available opportunities may no longer be accepting responses.
A count that is accurate at the time it is checked may be different by the time an applicant completes onboarding. For that reason, Earth Care’s Job Checker confirms current activity but does not promise that a particular number of opportunities will remain available.
If several opportunities exist, does that mean I can accept all of them?
Not necessarily. Each opportunity has its own location, service requirements, response period, customer decision, schedule, compensation, and eligibility requirements.
An Earth Care customer request may be routed to eligible Pro Workers in order based on location and availability. A third-party posting may accept applications from multiple people and may involve a separate selection process.
The existence of several opportunities in an area does not mean that every opportunity will be offered to, accepted by, or awarded to one particular Pro Worker.
Can Earth Care show me an example of available work before I pay?
Earth Care may provide nonprivate examples or summaries showing the type of work, general location, approximate compensation when available, and general requirements.
However, Earth Care cannot promise that an example will still be available after you complete onboarding. Customer details and other private information will remain protected until disclosure is appropriate.
Examples are provided to help applicants understand the types of opportunities that may be available. They are not job reservations or promises of employment.
Why can’t Earth Care reserve a job for me before I join?
Earth Care provides on-demand service opportunities rather than predetermined employment placements. Customers generally want assistance within a particular time period and cannot be expected to leave a service request unfilled while an applicant decides whether to join or completes onboarding.
Holding a job for someone who is not yet active could delay service for the customer and prevent an already eligible Pro Worker from accepting the work.
Once you become active and eligible, qualifying Earth Care requests may be routed to you according to location, availability, skills, and the applicable routing order.
Why can’t Earth Care have a job waiting for me and ready to begin?
Earth Care cannot manufacture, schedule, or reserve customer demand. Opportunities exist only when real customers, companies, or third-party sources need work performed.
The timing and availability of work depend on factors such as:
-
Your location and travel radius;
-
Your approved skills and experience;
-
Customer demand;
-
Customer scheduling needs;
-
How quickly opportunities are accepted;
-
Seasonal conditions;
-
Third-party hiring decisions; and
-
Changes or cancellations made by customers.
A legitimate opportunity may become available today and be accepted or cancelled shortly afterward. Earth Care therefore cannot guarantee that a specific job will be waiting on the exact day someone completes onboarding.
The 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee exists to reduce this risk: if you complete the requirements, remain eligible, and no qualifying opportunity is made available during the applicable 30-day period, you may request a full refund under the guarantee terms.
Why does Earth Care say there is work in my area without guaranteeing a specific job?
“There is work in your area” means Earth Care has identified current or recent qualifying opportunity activity within the applicable service area. It does not mean a particular job has been reserved for you.
Earth Care is an opportunity-access and job-routing platform for independent contractors—not an employer offering a predetermined position, salary, start date, or guaranteed schedule.
We clearly separate these two statements:
-
Opportunity activity exists in your area: Earth Care has identified relevant work activity near your location.
-
A job is guaranteed to you: Earth Care does not make this promise.
How can I independently protect myself before joining?
Before paying, you may:
-
Apply and determine whether you meet Earth Care’s eligibility requirements;
-
Use the free Job Checker;
-
Ask for current nonprivate information about opportunity activity near your ZIP code;
-
Review the complete Money-Back Guarantee;
-
Review voluntary testimonials and public company information;
-
Save a copy of the guarantee and your payment receipt; and
-
Contact Earth Care with questions about your skills, location, or service radius.
We encourage applicants to understand the independent-contractor model and the guarantee before making a payment.
Where can I check for current opportunity activity?
Use the free Earth Care Rent A Tech Job Checker:
The Job Checker can confirm current opportunity activity near your ZIP code. Results are a time-specific snapshot and do not reserve a particular opportunity or guarantee employment, selection, earnings, or completed work.
30-Day Opportunity Guarantee FAQ
Is my $47 payment refundable?
Yes. If you complete all required onboarding steps, remain eligible and available for work, and no qualifying opportunity is made available to you during your first 30 consecutive days, you may request a full refund of your $47 payment.
What is a qualifying opportunity?
A qualifying opportunity may be either:
-
An Earth Care customer service request routed through our job-routing system; or
-
A current job or contract opportunity posted by an independent third-party company, customer, staffing source, job board, or other outside organization.
To qualify under the guarantee, the opportunity must:
-
Match at least one service category or type of work listed on your approved profile;
-
Be located within approximately one hour of your registered service location;
-
Be active and reasonably available when it is shared with you; and
-
Include enough information for you to accept, apply, respond, or express interest.
-
Do third-party job postings count?
Yes. The guarantee covers access to qualifying work opportunities, including third-party job postings. Third-party postings may be available to multiple applicants and are not exclusive to Earth Care pros.
Earth Care does not create or control these postings. The hiring company, platform, or customer determines eligibility, compensation, scheduling, selection, and whether the opportunity remains available.
Does the guarantee mean I am guaranteed to get or complete a job?
No. The guarantee applies to the availability of qualifying opportunities—not employment, earnings, customer selection, or completed work.
Earth Care cannot guarantee that you will:
-
Receive a particular job;
-
Be hired or selected;
-
Complete an assignment;
-
Earn a specific amount;
-
Receive a certain number of opportunities; or
-
Receive an exclusive opportunity.
Customers and third-party organizations may cancel, change, remove, fill, or withdraw their opportunities.
What does “made available to me” mean?
An Earth Care opportunity is made available when it is routed directly to you through our job-routing system and you are given an opportunity to accept or decline it.
A third-party opportunity is made available when Earth Care sends or displays the posting, application link, contact information, or response instructions through an approved communication method or within your opportunity feed.
A third-party posting does not have to be reserved exclusively for you to qualify.
What happens if I do not respond to an Earth Care opportunity?
Earth Care jobs are routed in order based on location and availability. Because customers often need prompt assistance, you may have a limited period in which to respond.
If you allow a qualifying opportunity to expire without responding, it may be treated as declined and routed to the next eligible pro. A qualifying opportunity that you decline or allow to expire means the opportunity requirement of the guarantee has been satisfied, even if you do not complete the job.
What happens if I choose not to apply for a third-party opportunity?
If a qualifying third-party opportunity is made available to you and you choose not to apply or respond, it still counts as an opportunity under the guarantee.
The guarantee does not provide a refund merely because you declined an opportunity, did not apply, were not selected, did not receive a response, or did not complete paid work.
What if another pro claims an Earth Care job before it reaches me?
An Earth Care customer request does not count against your guarantee merely because it existed somewhere in your area. It must be routed and offered directly to you to qualify as an Earth Care-routed opportunity.
If the request was claimed before it reached your position in the routing order, it was not offered to you and does not count as an opportunity made available to you.
This does not apply to qualifying third-party postings, which may be open to multiple applicants simultaneously.
What if a third-party posting is already expired or unavailable?
An expired, removed, inaccessible, or clearly filled posting does not qualify if it was no longer reasonably available when Earth Care shared it with you.
Third-party postings can change or be removed after they are shared. A posting may still count if it was active and reasonably available when Earth Care made it available to you.
If you believe a posting was already unavailable, contact support promptly and provide a screenshot or other information showing that you could not access or respond to it.
What if the opportunity does not match my skills or is too far away?
To qualify, an opportunity must match at least one approved service category or type of work on your profile and be located within approximately one hour of your registered service location.
If you believe an opportunity was incorrectly classified, contact support promptly and provide the opportunity number, posting link, or other identifying information so it can be reviewed.
When does my 30-day guarantee period begin?
Your 30-day guarantee period begins when you have completed all required onboarding steps and your profile becomes eligible to receive opportunities.
Incomplete onboarding, missing documents, inaccurate profile information, disabled notifications, unavailability, suspension, or failure to maintain eligibility may delay or pause the guarantee period.
What could make me ineligible for a refund?
You may not qualify for a refund if:
-
A qualifying Earth Care or third-party opportunity was made available to you;
-
You declined an opportunity or allowed its response period to expire;
-
You chose not to apply or respond to a qualifying third-party posting;
-
You accepted an opportunity and later cancelled or failed to perform it;
-
You did not complete the required onboarding steps;
-
Your profile contained inaccurate or incomplete information;
-
You disabled or failed to maintain the required notification method;
-
You were unavailable, suspended, or otherwise ineligible to receive work; or
-
You requested a refund for a reason unrelated to the availability of qualifying opportunities.
How does Earth Care verify that an opportunity was made available?
Earth Care maintains records of opportunities shared with participating pros.
For Earth Care-routed opportunities, records may include the date and time, general location, service category, and routing result.
For third-party postings, records may include:
-
The date and approximate time shared;
-
The source or posting platform;
-
The general location;
-
The type of work;
-
The posting link or response method, when available; and
-
Whether the posting appeared active when it was shared.
Customer-identifying and other private information will not be disclosed.
Can I request information if my refund is denied?
Yes. If your refund request is denied because a qualifying opportunity was made available, you may request nonprivate information identifying the opportunity used in the decision.
Earth Care may provide the opportunity date, approximate time, general location, service category, source, posting link, or routing result when available. Customer names, telephone numbers, exact addresses, and other private information will remain confidential.
How do I request a refund?
Contact Earth Care support within 14 days after your 30-day guarantee period ends. Include your:
-
Full name;
-
Pro or application ID;
-
Registered ZIP code;
-
Payment receipt or payment email address; and
-
Request for review under the 30-Day Opportunity Guarantee.
Earth Care will review your eligibility, onboarding status, and opportunity history. We will generally respond within 5–10 business days. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method.
Can I check for opportunities before paying?
Yes. Use the free Earth Care Rent A Tech Job Checker to check for current work activity near your ZIP code before joining:
Job availability changes as customers and third parties post, cancel, remove, fill, or complete work opportunities. A positive Job Checker result confirms current activity in or near the area but does not reserve or guarantee a particular job.
Why does Earth Care charge a one-time fee?
The $47 one-time fee supports contractor onboarding, profile setup, training resources, opportunity access, job-routing services, support, and continued platform access.
The fee does not purchase a specific job, guarantee employment, or guarantee earnings. Earth Care does not deduct a percentage from the money you earn on an accepted Earth Care customer job.
Are Earth Care pros employees?
No. Earth Care pros participate as independent contractors. Pros decide whether to accept or respond to opportunities and are generally paid directly by customers according to the applicable work arrangement.
Earth Care does not guarantee wages, hours, employment, customer selection, or continuing assignments.
Can I save a copy of the guarantee?
Yes. We encourage every applicant to review and save a copy of the guarantee before making a payment. The version of the guarantee in effect on the date of your payment will apply to your initial guarantee period.
Still have questions?
Contact Earth Care before joining if you need clarification. You can also use our free Job Checker to check for current work activity near your location.
Important: Qualifying opportunities may include nonexclusive third-party job postings. The 30-Day Opportunity Guarantee protects against receiving no qualifying opportunities during the applicable period. It does not guarantee that you will be selected, hired, paid, or assigned a particular job.
